Crime Report: Four crimes

The following crimes are from the week of September 7 to September 13, 2014.

Sept. 9. 7900 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states that while walking on grounds of apartment complex with his friend they were approached by two black males from the rear on bikes and one of the males reached into his waistband and stated, “Give me everything.” Males then rode off with a black wallet containing money, $75 gift card and credit cards and one black wallet containing money, a credit card, debit card and an iPhone 5. One of the offenders was 5'5” tall, and his face was covered by a blue hoodie.

Sept. 10. 7900 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states he took items to store in October of 2011 to have them polished. Complainant states that after several inquiries that jewelry was lost. Witness on location states that jewelry was taken to Samson Street Metals by owners and melted down for cash.

Sept. 11. 400 block E. Willow Grove Avenue. Complainant states that between Sept. 3 and Sept. 11, four window screens were cut out of rear of house. A laundry room window was also forced open but entry was not gained due to safety tabs from inside. Window could not be opened fully. Complainant also states that her blue Audi A4 was rummaged through, and the garage door remote was possibly taken. Police disabled garage door.

Sept. 11. 100 block E. Chestnut Hill Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person stole her white 2014 Subaru Forestor.

Summary – Four crimes for week: one robbery, one burglary, one theft and one stolen vehicle.
