The following crimes are from the week of August 10 to August 16, 2014.
Aug. 13. 8600 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that in line at store an unknown person picked his pocket of a cell phone.
Aug. 14. Unit block E. Chestnut Hill Avenue. An unknown person stole a 26' copper drain pipe from south side of building and one from the east side of the church. All pieces accessed from ground level.
Aug. 14. Unit block Valley Green Road. Complainant states that between 10:45 a.m. and 1:25 p.m., an unknown person smashed the passenger side window of the car and stole money, black and white Aztek design book bag containing work clothes, an ATM card, checkbook and house keys.
Aug. 15. 7700 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states she had money in an envelope inside refrigerator. Cousin was a guest in complainant's apartment. Money was left in apartment and when they returned she found money missing.
Summary – Four crimes for week: one theft from vehicle and three other thefts.
