Barbara R. Bekker (nee Richardson) of Cathedral Village (formerly of Flourtown) died with grace and dignity on July 25, 2014. Barbara was a retired school counselor and an avid dog lover and trainer. She is survived by her daughter, Camelia, two brothers, two nephews, a niece, her beloved poodle, Sasha and many dear and devoted friends. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 15th at 10:00am at Cathedral Village. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Suburban Dog Training Club of Flourtown would be appreciated.
