Crime Report: 7 thefts from vehicles and 1 stolen car

The following crimes are from the week of July 6 to July 12, 2014.

July 6. Valley Green Road and Springfield Avenue. Between 6 and 8 p.m., an unknown person bent the passenger side front door of complainant's 1998 Honda CR-V and stole one wallet, one driver's license and an ATM Wells Fargo card.

July 6. 7700 block Stenton Avenue. A maintenance man and a pest control man were in complainant’s apartment on June 12, and after they left he noticed one Technomaster watch, a pair of diamond earrings, one Samsung tablet and the title for his truck were missing.

July 8. Unit block Valley Green Road. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger side window and damaged the passenger side door. Taken was a brown purse containing one flower print wallet, three debit cards, one credit card, an insurance card, Pennslyvania driver's license and car keys.

July 8. 300 block W. Northwestern Avenue. Complainant states she parked her 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the following items were taken: one Pennslyvania Driver's License, one Wells Fargo Visa card, one Macy's card, one American Express credit card and one Bank of America card.

July 8. 200 block E. Willow Grove Avenue. Complainant states she came out to her car and found all four doors were open and her belongings in the vehicle were in disarray. Nothing was taken from vehicle.

July 10. 8600 block Seminole Street. Between 8:30 p.m. on July 9 and 7:30 a.m. on July 10, an unknown person gained access through an unlocked window and stole a 2010 Toyota Prius, Pennslyvania Tag HJM 7245, which contained an Apple MacBook and a set of Wusthof knives.

July 11. 300 block W. Northwestern Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person entered his 2010 Toyota 4Runner in an unknown manner and stole an American Express card and a Master Card out of center console. Cards were used at Franklin Mills and at a Sunoco gas station in Cherry Hill, N.J.

July 11. 8700 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that a woman left location without paying for a bottle of Tito's Vodka.

July 12. 100 block W. Moreland Avenue. Complainant states his brother observed offenders open complainant's vehicle. His brother chased after offenders westbound on Moreland Ave. Both were describes as young men between 11 and 15.

July 12. 9 Valley Green Road. Police observed complainant's vehicle with damage to driver's side window and interior of vehicle ransacked. Complainant states she parked her Ford Explorer at 5:30 a.m. Taken were three pairs of Bulgari and Oakley sunglasses, and a wallet containing driver's license and credit cards (PNC, Citizens and American Express).

Summary – Ten crimes for week: one burglary, one theft, one retail theft and seven thefts from vehicles. And one stolen vehicle.
