Teenagers Inc. will hold a tavern night from 7 to 11 p.m. Thursday, June 12, to raise funds for the organization’s upcoming service trip to Guatemala. The event will be held at Campbell’s Place, 8337 Germantown Ave., in the upstairs bar. A $15 cover charge will include one free drink ticket.
Proceeds raised from the event will go towards the group's annual service trip to Antigua, Guatemala. Each July, the organization partners with the God’s Child Project. While in Guatemala, Teenagers' team of volunteers will build a house from the foundation up, dispense fresh fruit and vegetables in the community, deliver donated clothes, school supplies and toys, and interact with the local community.
Teenagers Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the Northwest sector of Philadelphia. It is this organization’s mission to provide recreational and volunteer opportunities to the youth in this area as well as surrounding suburban areas.
