At the Germantown Friends All-School Art Show on Thursday, May 29, students, faculty, parents and friends took in the impressive creations of GFS students K-12. The works included Andy Warhol-inspired portraits, vibrantly glazed pottery, carved wooden cars and Trojan Horses, O’Keefe-style flower studies, even a robot programmed to draw the image of a chair. The annual community-wide event serves as a culminating achievement in the students’ yearlong art study.
