Adam Fishbein of Elkins Park, PA was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome in 2005 at the age of 6. Since then, Fishbein has led the way for better understanding of Tourette Syndrome (TS) by speaking publicly and openly about his life with Tourette. Fishbein joined teens from across the country when the National Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA) hosted its seventh annual Tourette Syndrome Youth Ambassador Training in Washington D.C., March 18 to 20. The TSA Youth Ambassador Program trains teens to advocate for themselves and for others through community education. Fishbein was chosen to represent Pennsylvania based on an essay regarding his motivation to become a TSA Youth Ambassador. Adam is seen here with Jennifer Zwilling, 23, program founder. More information about TS at 1-888-4-TOURET or tsa-usa.org and on Facebook (/TSUSA) and Twitter (@TSAUSA).
