The following crimes are from the week of April 27 to May 3, 2014.

April 29. 8700 block Navajo Street. Complainant states that an unknown person rifled through vehicle. Nothing taken.

April 29. 8700 block Navajo Street. Complainant states that an unknown person entered vehicle through driver's side door and stole money.

April 30. 7800 block Germantown Avenue. Manager stated that two black males entered store and said, “get your hands up and get down on the ground and don't move.” Males took two Metro PCs, cell phones. First black male wearing a gray hoodie and had a black/silver handgun. Second black male wearing all black clothing and also had a handgun.

May 1. 7800 block Huron Street. Complainant states that he returned to his 2010 Land Rover and found right front window smashed and a pair of Ferrango Tortoise sunglasses stolen.

May 1. 500 block W. Moreland Avenue. Complainant states he parked in driveway, and when he returned to vehicle at 9:30 a.m. on May 1, he found items missing from console. Taken were a Tom Tom GPS in a black case with charging cord, silver Nano iPod and money.

May 1. Unit block W. Mermaid Lane. Complainant noticed motion light go on and he looked out window and saw an unknown person inside his gray 2001 Volvo. Complainant said he banged on window and offender ran down driveway.

May 1. 300 block W. Springfield Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person entered an unlocked gray 2014 Volkswagen Passat and stole money.

May 3. 500 block W. Springfield Avenue. Between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on May 3, an unknown offender entered complainant's vehicle and stole three credit cards (Capital One Visa, Nordstrom Visa and Bloomingdale Visa).

Summary – Eight crimes for week: Two entries to vehicles, five thefts from vehicles and one retail theft with guns.
