Germantown Avenue from Bethlehem Pike and Cresheim Valley Drive will be closed temporarily for snow removal work on Wednesday, February 19, Streets Commissioner David Perri announced today. The following temporary, full closure is scheduled to be in effect from approximately 10:00 PM Wednesday evening to 6:00 AM Thursday morning.
We are asking that all cars be removed from Germantown Avenue so as not to hamper the snow removal operation.
SEPTA will suspend bus service during this time period. The Streets Department apologizes in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation. Police Department assistance will be on call to help maintain a safe traffic flow in the area.
All work will be completed and traffic will be restored by 6:00 AM Thursday, February 20. The Streets Department thanks citizens in advance for their patience and cooperation during this project.
