The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 5 to Jan. 11, 2014.
Jan. 8. 7800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown black male came into store and made a purchase of some candy with a $100 bill. Then he asked for a napkin and when cashier turned around to get napkin, male took the $100 bill out of the open register. Black male, clean shaven, well dressed, wearing a brown leather jacket and brown dress pants.
Jan. 11. 7700 block Crittenden St. Complainant states that an unknown male forced his way behind counter and pointing a gun took money from register. Witness stated that the black male was 5'6” tall, had a heavy build, and was wearing a black jacket and skullcap.
Summary – Two crimes for week: one robbery and one retail theft.
