The Philadelphia Police Department's Northwest Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspect who robbed a Rite Aid in Chestnut Hill.
On January 11, 2014, at 4:50 pm, an unknown male entered the Rite Aid located at 7700 Crittenden Street acting as if he were purchasing a soda. Immediately after placing the soda on the counter, the suspect went behind the counter demanding money from the employee. When the employee jumped over the counter fleeing from the suspect, the suspect reached into the cash register drawer taking $85 in cash then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Suspect Description: Black male, 35-45 years-of-age, 5'11"-6'2", medium build, dark complected, wearing a black puffy jacket, black skull cap, gray pants, and dark sun glasses.
