The CHCF awarded Keystone Hospice a $5,000 grant last year, which the hospice applied toward the care for 99 neighbors – adults and children – who couldn’t afford to pay.
Keystone Hospice is a neighborhood facility at 8765 Stenton Ave. that provides quality hospice care for our terminally ill in the Chestnut Hill area. Keystone Hospice’s residential and home hospice care has helped folks stay in their homes and has helped to manage pain and psychosocial distress. Services are provided to individuals in Chestnut Hill and beyond who can’t afford end-of-life care.
Keystone Hospice provides four levels of assistance to northwest Philadelphia:
Keystone InTouch - Flexible programs to manage independence and health at home and as-needed access to caregivers.
Keystone Homecare - Specialized, at-home-care for patients in need of private duty care, comfort care or skilled nursing following injury, illness or hospitalization.
Keystone Hospice - Comfortable, comprehensive care that makes the most of life at home, in a facility or at Keystone House.
Keystone Pediatric - Compassionate, in-home care for the health and emotional well being of terminally ill children and the support of their families.
In 2012 more than 900 individuals who were medically indigent received home or residential services from Keystone Hospice. Keystone has achieved a high level of rapid admission and offers access to multidisciplinary care. Contact Keystone at 215-836-2440 or info@keystonecare.com.
