The following crimes are from the week of Dec. 8 to Dec. 14, 2013.

Dec. 9. Unit block W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states he parked his vehicle and went jogging. When he returned at about 6:10 p.m., he found front and rear windows broken on passenger side. Vehicle was ransacked. Taken was a backpack containing silver HP laptop, one brown and leather wallet containing money, driver's license, credit card and a ski jacket.

Dec. 9. 100 block E. Northwestern Avenue. Complainant states he parked his car at stable area and went for a jog on Forbidden Drive. He returned about two hours later to find glove compartment open and a credit card taken. Complainant states that a white male over 6' tall driving a black top convertible might have been involved. Occurred at 1:30 p.m.

Dec. 9. 400 block W. Chestnut Hill Avenue. Complainant states she parked her blue 2011 BMW at this location and later in day police found vehicle with front window smashed out. Taken was a Yoga bag containing a mat and towel.

Dec. 9. 8200 block Ardleigh Street. Complainant states she returned to her residence at 8:44 p.m. and interrupted a burglary. She observed offender run downstairs and out the back door dropping complainant's box in the snow in rear yard.

Dec. 12. 8100 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states he was standing at bus stop when two black males approached and talked to him. After a few minutes, one of them pulled out a black gun and asked complainant for everything he had. Complainant stated he had $5.00 and a white iPhone. He then handed over money.

Dec. 12. 400 block E. Abington Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person went into her purse, took her bank card and used it over six times for a certain period of time.

Dec. 12. 8400 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that between 3 p.m. and 5:45 p.m., an unknown person took a silver MacBook from a 2009 Saturn Outback.

Dec. 12. 200 block E. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states he was out of town on Dec. 11 and an unknown person stole DJ Equipment, one mixer, 2 CDs, one amp, two speakers. No sign of forced entry.

Dec. 14. 200 block E. Hartwell Lane. Complainant states that while unloading vehicle an unknown person stole a brown/orange Khor purse containing a black iPhone5 in a black case, and a Samsung 7 inch tablet in a pink case.

Dec. 14. 400 block W. Springfield Avenue. Complainant states he parked his 2010 Audi and when he returned he found passenger side front window broken and an iPhone 4S was taken.

Dec. 14. 9200 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the driver's side window of her 2009 BMW and stole a purse containing several credit cards, an iPod, a laptop computer, New York license, New York Registration and checkbook.

Dec. 14. 300 block W. Chestnut Hill Avenue. Complainant states that the rear passenger side window of his 2011 blue Honda CR-V was broken and interior was ransacked.

Summary – Twelve crimes for week: one burglary, three thefts and eight thefts from vehicles.
