Crime Report: Eight thefts

The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 29 to Oct. 5, 2013.

Sept. 29. 800 block Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that between 3 and 4:15 p.m., an unknown person stole several CDs from a 2003 Toyota Corolla.

Sept. 29. 7700 block Ardleigh Street. Complainant states that between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m., an unknown person stole a 1992 Buick Roadmaster, Pennsylvania tag HYL 4142.

Sept. 30. 7700 block McCallum Street. Complainant states he observed two black males get out of a white Honda, Pennsylvania tag GSM 4911, took drain pipes from side of building and got back into vehicle and fled.

Oct. 1. 200 block W. Meade Street. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a diamond encrusted wedding band and a diamond wedding band and a David D. Purman necklace from center console of a 2013 Volvo S40.

Oct. 2. Unit block W. Evergreen Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person stole his black iPhone 5 as he slept on an R8 train to Chestnut Hill. Reported at 5:12 p.m.

Oct. 3. 7700 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that offender approached him and stated, “Give me your cell phone,” in a threatening manner. Offender fled on a Septa 23 bus which was stopped by police at Germantown and Duval. Offender was identified by complainant and was arrested.

Oct. 4. 100 block W. Gravers Lane. Complainant states that between 10:05 p.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. on Friday, an unknown person went into a gray 2002 Honda Odyssey and stole $40 in quarters.

Oct. 4. 9600 block Germantown Avnuee. Complainant states that between 10:30 and 11 a.m., someone stole three metal drain pipes.

Summary – Eight crimes for week: one stolen vehicle, two thefts from vehicles and five thefts.
