The Chestnut Hill Film Group's 40th season of 'Tuesday Nights at the Movies' continues on October 8 with the 1966 romantic caper, “Gambit.”

“Gambit” follows cat burglar Harry Dean and dancer Nicole Chang as they attempt to pull off the perfect heist. Dean and Chang plan to steal a priceless artifact from a wealthy tycoon named Shahbandar; Chang goes incognito as Shahbandar's former wife to distract the tycoon so that Dean can make the steal – but, as things prove, no plan is foolproof.

The film is directed by Ronald Neame and stars Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine as Harry Dean and Nicole Chang. It would later be nominated for three Oscars at the 1967 Academy Awards.

The movie begins at 7 p.m. at Woodmere Art Museum. Doors open at 6:30. Admission is free, although donations are recommended.
