The 7th annual Mt. Airy Village Fair was held on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the corner of Carpenter and Greene Lane. The old fashioned fair featured live music, a pie-eating contest, a slow ice cream-eating contest, a petting zoo and donkey cart rides. Thousands of residents came out to celebrate the diverse and unique culture of Mt. Airy.
