On a humid Wednesday evening in Pastorius Park, psychedelic pop-rock band, Cheers Elephant, played the fifth show in the ongoing summer concert series. People of all ages came out for the performance, dragging behind them coolers and chairs and blankets. They set up their spots with their families and friends and took in the atmosphere, the music, and the allure of the summer night. The band, glistening in sweat, played well into the night and gave a memorable performance to the crowd, whose memories of the evening will endure longer than they ever imagined.
Phyllis Chapell & Siora will take the stage next on July 24. For more information and weather updates, visit chestnuthill.org.
