The Chestnut Hill Historical Society celebrates 20th century architecture in Chestnut Hill with a self-guided tour of five outstanding examples of mid-century Modern residences this Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., sponsored by Elfant Wissahickon Realtors.

Tickets are $30, $15 for members of CHHS, and can be purchased in advance at chhist.org or on the day of the tour at Elfant Wissahickon Realtors, 8039 Germantown Avenue.

In addition to the tour, the Historical Society is also presenting a special screening of “My Architect,” the award-winning documentary about visionary architect Louis Kahn. It will be shown at the Woodmere Art Museum at 7 p.m. this Thursday, May 30. A Q&A with writer-director Nathaniel Kahn will follow the film. Tickets are $15, available only at chhist.org or at CHHS, 8708 Germantown Avenue, until 6:30 on the evening of the screening; admission is free for members of CHHS, who can reserve online. Light refreshments will be served.
