The For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation's 2013 Fashion Show on April 18 will transform the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club into a runway, featuring fashions from the Elizabeth Marr Boutique in Newtown Square and Haverford.
The annual event will include a silent auction, raffles, dinner and the latest fashions. It also will feature an award ceremony presenting Charles Doloway, president of Allegheny Iron & Metal Co., with the Peter R. Bossow Jr. Memorial Award.
All funds raised will support For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, which enables cancer patients and their loved ones the opportunity to strengthen, deepen and unify their relationships by creating respite vacations at the FPS respite home near Orlando, Fla., and to select destinations in the Caribbean and along the East Coast. More than 4,400 individuals have been served by FPS since 1999. For information call 610-761-4146.
