The following crimes are from the week of March 24 to March 30, 2013.

March 24. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that offender came into store and took cough syrup and other miscellaneous items and was confronted by employee. Offender, black male 46 to 50 years old, dark complexion, salt and pepper hair and beard. He was wearing bluejeans and work boots. Male fled southbound towards Mermaid Lane into apartment area.

March 25. 8100 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that someone stole two downspouts from side of building.

March 25. 100 block W. Willow Grove Ave. Someone stole a 14 foot trampoline which was recovered at Lincoln Drive and Springfield Ave.

March 27. Unit block W. Sunset Ave. Police were on patrol when they observed front door ajar and upon further investigation they found front door damaged which had been forced open. House interior was ransacked.

March 28. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states he withdrew money from bank and while still inside bank he set envelope on counter and became preoccupied with something else. When he went to get money it was missing.

March 30. 200 block W. Evergreen Ave. Complainant states that between 6:30 and 8:45 p.m., someone stole a Handicap Placard, #P82322K, from his unlocked vehicle.

Summary – Six crimes for week: one burglary, one retail theft, one theft from vehicle and three other thefts.
