The following crimes are from the week of March 10 to March 16, 2013.

March 11. 8000 block Cherokee Street. Complainant states that someone took a silver floral draw string bag from table where she was sitting. The following items were taken: one Visa card, Pa. Driver's License, blank check, an iPhone 4S. Reported at 10 p.m. on March 8.

March 11. 8000 block Cherokee Street. Security guard states that someone stole two MacBook Pro Laptops, 1st serial number WD024DJACTM and 2nd serial number W8024DPZATM.

March 12. 500 block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that a black male, 21 to 25 years old, small build, mustache, beard, eyeglasses, wearing a gray hoody and dark tan pants, stole four book bags containing four 13” MacBook Laptops, Serial numbers CO2FW02DH26, W892643J66H, W80243MSATM and W8024DNDATM.

March 12. Unit block E. Summit Street. Complainant states that between 10:30 p.m. on March 8 and 8:30 a.m. on March 9, someone stole change and insurance card from vehicle in driveway.

March 14. 8700 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states she observed a black male, 50-ish, 5'9” tall, wearing a black knit cap and camouflage khaki pants, put a bottle of Sterling vodka into his inner jacket pocket and leave store. Complainant asked him to return bottle and male stated he did not have anything and walked out.

March 15. 8000 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that her friend and another person were in her house and the other person stole clothes, lotion, shoes, boots and underwear. Reported at 3 p.m. on March 14.

March 16. Unit block E. Sunset Ave. Complainant states that around 8 p.m. on March 15, she heard a loud noise and on the 16th discovered that a window in the porch area was open and wooden bench on porch was broken. Metal milk jugs were moved around. No entry was gained to home.

Summary – Seven crimes for week: one burglary, one retail theft, one theft from vehicle and four other thefts.
