Winter Storm Nemo has come and gone. Luckily, most of Philadelphia and its surrounding areas received more of the usual: a few harmless inches that could be swept away with a broom. For others, their luck didn't hold up as well. Five states had locations that received 30 inches of snow or more. Massachusetts and other parts of the Mid-Atlantic Seaboard were hit by powerful winds, some exceeding 80 mph, which caused power outages and significant coastal flooding. In many places today, they are still clearing roads and working to fix the damage done by Nemo.
