The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are looking for a man responsible for robbing the Citizens Bank branch located at 6324 Stenton Ave. on Thursday, Jan. 24.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., a man entered the bank, and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to FBI spokesman J.J. Klaver. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as an African American male in his 30s, 6 feet and 2 inches tall, thick build, with a short beard. He wore a tan jacket, blue jeans, and a tan winter hat with colored stripes on the trim.

The robber is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the man's arrest.
