A silver SUV crashed into the Pa. Wine and Spirits store, 7204 Germantown Ave. in Mt. Airy, on Saturday, Jan. 12, at approximately 3 a.m., according to Officer Christine O'Brien, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia Police Department. O'Brien could not confirm any other information at this time.

However, according to an article posted on NBC-TV's website, the driver was identified as Dovita Douglas, 28. NBC reported that Douglas crashed into the liquor store while driving under the influence and then fled the scene.

The article states: "When police arrived at the scene, they say they spotted the vehicle, a 1999 Gray Lexus RX300, at West Mount Pleasant and Lincoln Drive driving erratically and disregarding multiple red lights."

NBC reported that the driver of the vehicle pulled over at 500 Hortter Street. Police apprehended Douglas and charged her with DUI and criminal mischief.
