The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 18 to Nov. 24, 2012.

Nov. 19. 400 block E. Gravers Lane. Complainant states that while he was checking a property that is up for sale he noticed a side door was open and damaged. He notified police and when they arrived they did a walk through with negative results.

Nov. 20. 8200 block Seminole Ave. Complainant states that a black male took a package from the front porch and then jumped into a red Subaru station wagon, drove southbound on Seminole and then turned westbound on Willow Grove Ave. Taken were various cosmetics. Offender, black male, 5'10” tall, mid 30's, medium build.

Nov. 21. 7700 block Germantown Ave. Complainant came into store using his cell phone and was observed on security camera leaving the store with Dove body wash, Dove soap, Nivea body wash and Nivea lotion. Offender, black male, 36 – 40 years old, 5'8” - 5'9” tall, medium complexion, wearing white sneakers, black puffy jacket, white shirt, black hat and tan khaki pants.

Nov. 21. 200 block W. Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that when he returned from walking he found that someone had entered his 2010 Toyota Camry and ransacked the glove compartment, stealing money and an American Express and Visa card.

Nov. 22. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Police arrived at 9 a.m. to find door smashed in. Witness states that offender fled westbound on Mermaid Lane toward Germantown Ave. in a Ford Taurus with the cash register drawer.

Nov. 24. Unit block Abington Ave. Complainant states that between 4 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 6 p.m. on Nov. 24, someone broke the right front window of a 2010 Honda Accord and stole a bluetooth Headset.

Nov. 24. Unit block Summit Street. Complainant states that between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., someone broke out the back door window and stole necklaces, watches, pendants, earrings and a wedding band from bedroom.

Summary – Seven crimes for week: three burglaries, one theft, one retail theft and two thefts from vehicles.
