The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 11 to Nov. 17, 2012.

Nov. 11. 8300 block Seminole Ave. Complainant states that between 9 a.m. on Nov. 10 and 7 p.m. on Nov. 11, someone gained entry to property and stole two watches.

Nov. 12. Valley Green Road. Complainant states that someone broke the window to a Honda Pilot and stole a wallet containing bank cards, a driver's license, check and a North Face Jacket.

Nov. 12. 7700 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that someone forced open the front door and stole 15 to 20 cartons of assorted cigarettes. Reported at 1:55 a.m.

Nov. 14. 8400 block Prospect Ave. Complainant states that between 10 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 14, someone gained entry through the side door in kitchen and stole a Mac Pro computer. The family was at home at time of entry.

Nov. 15. 7800 block Crefeld Street. Complainant states that between 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 15, someone stole a Global Positioning System from a black Honda Civic 4d and a black TomTom GPS.

Nov. 15. 100 block W. Springfield Ave. Complainant states that someone broke the passenger side window of a 2008 Jeep Wrangler and stole a silver pocket knife with “CDB” engraved on it.

Nov. 15. Unit block W. Moreland Ave. Complainant states that between 6:35 a.m.. and 7:50 p.m., someone ransacked bedroom. Police did a walk-through and found two bedroom windows open with pry marks on one window.

Nov. 15. 7800 block Roanoke Street. Complainant states that he parked his 2011 black Lexus 460 at this location and when he returned he found side the window broken and glove compartment trashed. Nothing appears to have been taken.

Nov. 15. 8000 block Cherokee Street. Complainant states that one of her students had left her 13” Apple MacBook Pro laptop in female bathroom and when she returned her laptop was gone.

Nov. 16. 300 block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that someone entered a gray 2011 Dodge Caravan and stole a Global Positioning System. Reported at 2 p.m.

Nov. 17. 8400 Germantown Ave. Complainant states that someone stole an AT&T Vivid Cell phone. There is a tracking device on phone.

Summary – Eleven crimes for week: four burglaries, two thefts and five thefts from vehicles.
