The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 4 to Nov. 10, 2012.

Nov. 4. 400 block Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states that between 12 a..m. and 5 a.m. someone broke into two parked vehicles. The first vehicle was a 2010 Mercedes S350, the second a Mercedes 300SEL. Taken were a silver iPod video, one black leather pocketbook, one driver's license, one leather wallet containing various credit cards, a driver's license, credit card gift card, house keys and money.

Nov. 4. 100 block W. Highland Ave. Between 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 4, someone broke the passenger side window of a 2009 Honda CR-V and stole a TomTom Global Positioning System.

Nov. 4. 100 block E. Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states that someone broke the driver's side window and stole a bag containing various credit cards, debit cards and a driver's license.

Nov. 7. 7600 block St. Martin's Lane. Police responded to the burglar alarm and found the front door open and the first floor window broken. Second floor bedrooms were ransacked but nothing appears to be missing.

Nov. 8. 100 block E. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that she was walking to work when she was approached by an offender who grabbed her brown purse containing Transpass, various credit cards, identification and money.

Nov. 9. 500 block Telner Street. Complainant states she left home at 8 a.m. and returned at approximately 12 p.m. and found front door partially open (which she had locked before she left). When doing a walk-through with police, she found the first and second floor bedrooms ransacked.

Nov. 10. Unit block Woodale Ave. Between 8 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 10, someone stole a MAC Apple laptop, one candle and one candle holder from a 2012 Subaru Impreza.

Nov. 10. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that someone entered a 2004 Chevy Impala and stole a carton of cigarettes and money.

Summary – Eight crimes for week: one robbery, two burglaries and five thefts from vehicles.
