Crime Report: More thefts from cars

The following crimes are from the week of Oct. 27 to Nov. 3, 2012.

Oct. 27. Unit block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that someone broke the passenger side front window and stole a black iPod, Global Positioning System and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. Reported at 1 a.m. on Oct. 27.

Oct. 29. l00 block E. Moreland Ave. Complainant states that someone entered their home by cutting the dining room screen and rooted through the bureau drawers in the bedroom. Nothing appears to have been taken. Reported at 8 p.m.

Oct. 29. 7700 block Ardleigh St. Complainant states that between 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 28 and 11 a.m. on Oct. 29, someone stole a Pennsylvania license tag, EVC4059, from vehicle.

Nov. 1. 200 block Lynnebrook Lane. Complainant states that she withdrew money from an ATM machine on Oct. 26 and when she went to the pharmacy on Nov. 1, she noticed the money was missing from her pocketbook. Two different caregivers were in the home at the time the money went missing. Reported at 4 p.m.

Nov. 3. 8200 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states he parked his gray 2008 Solara the evening of Nov. 2 and when he returned on the morning of Nov. 3, he found several items missing. Taken were a gray cell phone, book tapes, DVD's and two pair of golf shoes.

Summary – Five crimes for week: one burglary, one theft and three thefts from vehicles.
