The following crimes are from the week of Oct. 21 to Oct. 27, 2012.

Oct. 22. 7700 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that he came home around 6:20 p.m. and discovered his house had been burglarized. Taken was a Movado watch with a silver band and a black face and a silver Rolex watch.

Oct. 23. 7700 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person came into store and took several items off shelf and put them in a bag and left store without paying. Taken were miscellaneous skin products, Eucerin lotions, Lubraderm lotions, Body wash and Dove soap. Offender, black male, 5'2” - 5'10” tall, 190 pounds, wearing a white Hoody.

Oct. 23. 8000 Crefeld Street. Complainant came home about 8:10 p.m. and discovered his house had been burglarized. Entry was made through front door which might have been left unlocked. Taken from master bedroom were several gold bracelets, one gold fraternity ring “PHI-MU” with initials FLV engraved.

Oct. 23. Unit block W. Abington Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger side window to a gray 2004 Honda Pilot and stole a white iPod, CRA charger and one screen car divider.

Oct. 26. 8100 block Germantown Ave. Between 8:40 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. an unknown person entered apartment by pushing in glass window pane and stole various costume jewelry and an HP laptop computer.

Oct. 26. 200 block W. Evergreen Ave. Complainant states that he heard footsteps on stairs and then going out through kitchen door. Nothing appears to have been taken.

Oct. 27. Unit block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole one black iPod, Global Positioning System and a pair of Ray-Ban glasses. Reported at 1 p.m.

Summary – Seven crimes for week: four burglaries, one retail theft and two thefts from vehicles.
