The body of a 37-year-old man was found inside the gazebo in the rear of the Chestnut Hill Library, 8711 Germantown Ave., on Sunday, Oct. 21 at approximately 9:33 a.m., according to Officer Tanya Little, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia Police Department.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m. by a medic on the scene. Preliminary evidence suggests the man committed suicide. No other information is available at this time, including the name of the young man. Police said they are continuing to investigate the matter.
