Crime report: Four thefts from area cars The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 2 to Sept. 8, 2012.
Sept. 4. 100 block Springfield Ave. Complainant states that someone smashed the passenger side window of a 2010 Nissan Altima and stole a Garmin GPS.
Sept. 4. Unit block E. Springfield Ave. someone broke passenger side window and stole a black bag containing a MacBook Pro laptop. Sept. 4. 200 block W. Evergreen Ave. Someone broke the right front driver's side window and stole a GPS and wires. Sept. 5. 100 block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that between 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, someone ransacked a vehicle, opened glove compartment and stole a registration card, insurance card, three ink printer cartridges and money. Summary – Four crimes for week: four thefts from vehicles.
