The football team is playing on the road this week, so the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams at the school will be the first to see action at the renovated stadium, where a permanent grandstand building will be constructed. The girls will play at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with the boys’ game to follow at 4 p.m.

Across Willow Grove Ave., major improvements currently in progress include the installation of another artificial turf playing field, and the unification of the two separate tennis facilities employed by the old Chestnut Hill Academy and Springside School. There will also be an additional rectangular grass field in that grouping, along with refurbished baseball and softball fields.
