[caption id="attachment_15955" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Teacher aids Parkinson's Patients"][/caption]  Local teacher Rachel Isenberg and a friend, Erin Williams, embarked on a bicycle ride Aug. 18 of over 430 miles from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia in a five-day trek to raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) in honor of Rachel’s mother. Rachel is seen here with Douglas Briller, another friend, on a climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.“The 400+ mile ride from Pittsburgh back to Philly was incredible and fulfilling,” Rachel said last Friday. “We met amazing people and, on Wednesday, crossed the finish line. With your help, over $5,500 was raised for the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.” More information at800-457-6676info@pdf.org or www.pdf.org.
