A 54-year-old Chestnut Hill resident was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, according to police John Gore, of the 8100 block of Ardleigh Street, faces charges of simple assault, making terroristic threats, and reckless endangerment.
Police described the incident as follows: After arguing with his ex-girlfriend and pulling her out of her mother's car, Gore dragged the victim into the residence on the 8100 block of Ardleigh St. He grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill her and her family if she screamed or called the police. The victim attempted to get away but was pulled back into the house. Neighbors heard the commotion and called 911. Upon arrival, police arrested Gore. –
