Toy Soldiers played the outdoor stage at Pastorius Park for the second of seven concerts in this year's Pastorius Park Concert Series. The band and a large crowd (which swelled past 300 by my best estimate) endured temperatures that were still well above 90 degrees at 7:30 p.m.
The concert series is presented by the Chestnut Hill Community Association with support from Chestnut Hill Hospital and the Chestnut Hill Community Fund. Next Wednesday's concert will feature Philadelphia Folk Band, Hezekia Jones.
