Andrew Ducsik, age 64, born in Abington, PA. He was a lifelong devoted resident of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. Andrew died suddenly on March 23rd, 2012.He will be truly missed by friends and family for his kind nature and generous heart. Andrew was predeceased by his father, Andrew. He is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth, brother, Martin (Susan), sister, Linda Maraldo (Santi), nephews Ryan and David, nieces Becky Harris and Alisa O'Bine, cousins and aunts and uncle. He is also survived by many close friends. Andrew was employed as a stock broker at Oppenheimer & Company, in Philadelphia, for the past 17 years. He had a passion for Federalist period furniture; he was an expert and collector. Andrew enjoyed traveling to art museums, and designing his garden.  Andrew’s articles on landscaping and gardening were published in numerous magazines and newspapers. He was also an integral member of Cresheim Valley Church. Andrew will be sorely missed. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 on April 21st, in the Chapel, at Chestnut Hill Academy, 500 W. Willow Grove Ave., Chestnut Hill, PA. 19118. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), 100 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 or at www.phillypaws.org.
