The following crimes are from the week of March 11 to March 17, 2012.

March 11. 8000 block Roanoke Street. Complainant states that between March 9 and March 11, an unknown person gained entry to shed and stole two small gas tanks, propane tank, shovel, leaf blower and attachments.

March 14. 8300 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that offender handed teller demand note but fled bank without any money.

March 14. 8300 block Anderson Street. Complainant states that between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an unknown person broke window to enter property and stole a black Dell laptop computer, modem and backpack.

March 14. Unit block Norman Lane. Police responded and to alarm and upon arrival found first floor bathroom window broken open. It appears entry was not made.

March 17. 8400 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person was observed taking pieces of costume jewelry and leaving store without paying. Offender – black female, 5’11” tall, 36 – 40 years old, medium brown complexion, red hair, wearing a green scarf and a brown coat. Reported at 12 a.m.

Summary — Five crimes for week: three burglaries, one robbery and one retail theft.
