The following crimes are from the week of Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, 2012.

Feb. 19. 8800 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that he was hit in the head with a hard object and beaten by unknown offenders. One man said, “Give that shit  up” and then took money from complainant’s pocket. Offenders fled in an unknown direction. Complainant cannot remember where robbery occurred but was transported to Chestnut Hill Hospital by a family member. Offenders: four black males, two wearing black hoodies. Complainant unable to furnish description of clothing on other two offenders.

Feb. 20. 8800 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that she went out of town on Feb. 17. A neighbor came over to feed cats and discovered the family room window was wide open and French doors in kitchen were open. Dining room drawer was ransacked and jewelry was tossed on bed in bedroom. It is unknown at this time what jewelry and silverware were taken.

Feb. 20. 8000 block Seminole Street. Complainant states that an unknown person stole 20 children’s DVDs and one book bag from a black 2011 Buick Enclave.

Feb. 21. Germantown and E. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that between 3:30 and 4:16 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to trunk and stole two credit cards from pocketbook.

Feb. 21. Unit block E. Chestnut Hill Avenue. Complainant states that he misplaced his 380 silver BDA handgun. He has been looking for it for over three months.

Feb. 22. 8000 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that her son punched her in the face, choked her, banged her head on concrete and threatened to kill her. Complainant was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center for cuts to her mouth. Reported at 10:15 p.m.

Feb. 23. 9500 Wheelpump Lane. Complainant states that she came home to discover her home was burglarized. Entry was made through side door which was kicked in. The following items were stolen: one iPod touch, serial C3TGNJSPDT 75, one iPod touch, Serial C3LGNX01DT 75, one Dell laptop, one F/S 55” television, one F/S 40” television, Nintendo Wii, DVD player, various jewelry and a jar filled with coins.

Summary — Seven crimes for week: one robbery, three burglaries, one aggravated assault and two thefts from vehicles.
