Sixth grader, Abby Schwenger, won the 5th-8th grade spelling bee and has the honor of representing her school on March 1oth at the Regional Spelling Bee.  If she wins she will travel to Washington, D.C. for the National Scripps Spelling Bee which will be televised on ESPN.  Abby has already won a free year subscription to Britannica Online Student Edition and a certificate to take a language course of her choice online provided by Powerspeak.com.  If Abby is unable to compete, Eliza Ewing, NFA 8th grader, will take her place in the competition.
