GOODNER MD, David M. On January 25, 2012. Age 68. Of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Susan (Nee Hinman). Devoted father of Blake and his wife Lois Goodner and Alyson Goodner and her fiancé Paul Daniels. Caring grandfather of Harley, Shyla and Colt Goodner. Dear brother of Mickey (Martha) and Gary (Carmen) Goodner. David will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Born in Fallon, Nevada on Feb. 9, 1943, was a college graduate and MD recipient of Duke University. After completing his residency at Thomas Jefferson University in OBGYN and two years of military service in Korea, David joined the Professional Health Care for Women Practice. David married Susan Hinman on December 28th, 1966. He was an active member of the Philadelphia Cricket Club, Philadelphia Department of Recreation and the William Penn Charter Communities. David was a past President of the PA Obstetrics Society and was repeatedly named a "Top Doc" of Pennsylvania and New Jersey throughout his career. Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service 3:30 PM on Friday February 3 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club (415 West Willow Grove Avenue Philadelphia, PA). In lieu of flowers please make donations in David Goodner's name to the Alzheimer' s Association (http://www.alz.org/).
