The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 1 to Jan. 7, 2012.

Jan. 3. 8100 block St. Martin’s Lane. Between midnight and 8:15 a.m., an unknown person entered home possibly through an unlocked patio door. The offender then entered kitchen area and stole two Apple iPhones and a MAC laptop.

Jan. 3. 100 block Rex Ave. Police responded to burglar alarm and upon arrival were met by owner who conducted a walk-through with police. Police found two side windows that were pushed up and the screen had been cut. Entry was not made.

Jan. 3. 8500 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that an  unknown person took the wallet from her purse while she was eating inside the restaurant. Wallet contained Pennsylvania driver’s license, an American Express card, a Visa card, a Master Card and money. Reported at 12:55 p.m.

Jan. 3. 300 block E. Gravers Lane. Complainant states he put his wallet on seat next to him and an unknown person took it. Wallet contained a health card, Pennsylvania driver’s license, a Master card, two Visa cards and money.

Jan. 4. 7800 block Navajo Street. Complainant states that she left home at 7:10 a.m. and returned at 7:20 p.m., and fond that an unknown person had kicked in front door and stole a pair of pearl necklaces, a gold colored necklace, a diamond ring, a wedding band and various other pieces of jewelry.

Jan. 4. Valley Green Inn and Valley Green Road. Complainant states that between 3:30 and 4 p.m., an unknown person broke the passenger side window to a 1996 Ford Escort and stole a gray/black tote bag with Macbook computer and charger, and a black and red shoulder bag that contained camera lens, wallet, keys and money.

Jan. 8. 8100 block St. Martin’s Lane. Between 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 5, an unknown person came into house through rear unlocked door and stole money, assorted jewelry, diamonds, pearls, a platinum bracelet with blue stones, one brown leather handbag, a social security card, a health card, a driver’s license, a coat and a vest.

Jan. 5. 7800 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states he found clothing and paper with name and address of offender in apartment which is unoccupied. Pry marks were found on bedroom window. Reported at 5:15 p.m.

Jan. 5. 100 block W. Springfield Avenue. Complainant states she came home and found kitchen door wide open and glass pane smashed to gain access to lock. Alarm system was not set. Pillow case was also taken to hold various jewelry and watches.

Summary — Nine crimes for week: six burglaries, two thefts and one theft from vehicle.
