Mary Grace Integlia (nee Poliero), 89, of Wyndmoor and formerly of Chestnut Hill passed away on November 12, 2011 at Chestnut Hill Hospital with her family by her side. Born October 30, 1922 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (D’Auria) Poliero. She was the wife of Felix Integlia for 61 years. Mary grew up in Chestnut Hill and was a graduate of Springfield High School. She was employed by the Philadelphia Navy Yard until 1950. While visting family in Italy, she met her husband, Felix. After a long distance courtship, and another visit to Italy, Mary knew that they were meant to be together. Felix moved from Italy to Chestnut Hill and they were married at Our Mother of Consolation Church on November 23, 1950. They moved to Wyndmoor in 1958 and became members of Seven Dolors Church. Mary was a wonderful and devoted wife, homemaker, and mother. She loved to cook and grew many fruits and vegetables in their own garden. She was a seamstress, artist, and avid reader. Mary was a very kind person and was always ready to help her family, friends, and neighbors in any way she could. She will be greatly missed by many people. After her children completed school, she went to work at Killian’s Hardware in Chestnut Hill as a bookkeeper. She retired in 1990 to help with the care of her grandchildren and to volunteer at the CCD program at Seven Dolors Church. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling during this time. In addition to her husband, Felix, she is survived by two daughters, Theresa Krauth (William) of Oreland and Diane Gross (Charles) of Chalfont; one son, Joseph Integlia of Hollywood, California; a sister Jeanette Perri (Joseph) of Montgomeryville; three grandchildren, Jason C, Krauth, Erin J. Gross, Charles J. Gross, IV and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles J. Poliero and her sister Lillian R. Brown. Relatives and friends may call at Seven Dolors Church, 1200 E. Willow Grove Ave., Wyndmoor, Thursday Nov. 17th, 6:30-8:30PM and Friday Nov. 18th at 10am. Funeral Mass 11am. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. The family would prefer to have donations made in her memory to The American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or www.diabetes.org.
