The former Border’s at 8701 Germantown Ave., closed now for more than two years, will soon house a new branch of Children of America, a national daycare chain that, according to its website, offers full day programs for infants to toddlers and preschool aged children, as well as before and after care and summer programs for children ages 5-12,

Chestnut Hill retail coordinator Eileen Reilly confirmed the lease to the local yesterday.

Children of America's V.P. of Marketing, Lynne D’Andrea told the local that the Hill location should be open early next year.

“We are currently looking at March 2012 for a soft opening,” she said.

Children of America also has nearby locations in Lansdale, Warminster and Warrington.
