POLL: Can Chestnut Hill support a community bookstore?

Posted

This week Greg Williams, owner of Mt. Airy's Walk a Crooked Mile Books, called on readers to think about creating a community or co-op bookstore in the former Germantown Avenue location of Borders.

Wrote Williams: "We need a place where meetings can be held, where authors can be met, where music can be heard, where community can be nurtured.  Philadelphia needs a great bookstore, and we could make one here."
