Waters from Hurricane Irene sent the Wissahickon well over its banks early Sunday morning, covering park benches and trash cans and badly damaging much of Forbidden Drive. This video was shot at 11:45 at the Valley Green Inn.
Elsewhere in Chestnut Hill, everything seemed relatively normal, if rain-soaked. Power was on and Avenue shops were open for business.
