Mt. Airy USA is partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia and the Trolley Car Diner to host a Moonlight Movies outdoor series that will run for six consecutive Fridays through August 12. This week’s movie is The Sandlot, the 1993 kids comedy where new-kid-on-the-block Scotty Smalls is taken under the wing of neighborhood baseball guru Rodriguez. Seating will begin at 8 p.m.

The street fair will be held from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. and is free to the public. For performances by local bands, stop by from 1 p.m.- 10 p.m. Performance tickets are between $6 - $25.

This Saturday morning put on your running shoes and Run For The Hill of It with Montgomery Child Advocacy Program (MCAP). This annual five-mile run and one-mile walk will begin in Fairmount Park. MCAP is a nonprofit organization that strives to provide free legal representation to children who are victims of neglect and abuse. Join the MCAP team for the 24th Annual Run For The Hill of It.
