The parents and children of Christ Lutheran Child Care Center at 8300 Germantown Avenue will hold a Spring Fundraiser on Saturday, May 21.
The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the center. Food will be served and a raffle and auction will take place.
A variety of items and services generously donated by the Chestnut Hill community and friends of CLCCC will be featured at the auction. There will be both silent and live bids taken on high-end prizes that include, a week timeshare rental in Florida, a week of full-day basketball camp, a private three-hour cooking lesson from the pastry chef of a top Philadelphia restaurant, and signed photos of Charlie Manuel and Harry Kalas. Among other items to bid on will be a behind-the-scenes tour of a local morning TV news program, an in-home concert by a local artist, two Palates lessons, and original artwork. Some of the themed raffle baskets to win are a Beach Fun Basket, a Road Trip Basket and a Gardening Basket.
Admission to the fundraiser is $30 per person and $50 per couple. Babysitting is also available for an additional $20 per family. Raffle tickets will be an additional charge and available for purchase at the event. To reserve tickets and babysitting spaces please call 215-247-1330.
