The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 16 to Jan. 22, 2011.
Jan. 19. 8000 block Cherokee Street. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a MAC Pro laptop, serial number W8024DK, from his book bag which was in hallway. Reported at 2 p.m.
Jan. 22. 7900 block Navajo Street. Between 6:30 and 10:55 p.m., an unknown person forced entry door open and broke door frame. Pry marks were on door. Police observed large Timberland boot imprints in snow in back yard.
Summary — Two crimes for week: one burglary and one theft.
