Perhaps you’ve already seen the signs. TLA Video, a mainstay attraction in Chestnut Hill at 7630 Germantown Ave., announced recently that it would close its doors for good on Jan. 30. It is currently not renting videos at the shop and is, instead, selling off its sizable inventory of DVDs. The video shop, owned by an independent company that also owns shops in Center City and Bryn Mawr, has held on longer than many others like it in this day of streaming video on demand and Netflix.  The Chestnut Hill location has been open for 23 years. The store’s manager was unavailable for comment on the closing on Wednesday morning. -- Pete Mazzaccaro
