Dec. 5. Unit block Bethlehem Pike. Complainant states that when he opened for business at 8 a.m., he noticed various keys on floor and one of the keys was broken off inside the glass door. Two large holes were in office wall that is also a wall to the ladies room. Door lock was broken with forced entry. Taken was a jump box.
Dec. 6. Unit block W. Hampton Road. Complainant was informed by police that neighbor made 911 call reporting that an unknown person was smashing out passenger side front window of a 2010 Lexus LX350. Offender, black male, tall, 26 – 30 years old, wearing a ¾ length coat. Reported at 3:17 a.m.
Dec. 6. 9100 block Green Tree Road. Complainant states that an unknown person gained entry to a 2003 Toyota by breaking drivers side window and stealing a white iPod. Reported at 11 p.m.
Dec. 7. 8800 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that between 12:45 and 1 p.m., an unknown person took her wallet out of her jacket pocket while it was inside her office. Taken were four credit cards, two debit cards and an insurance card. Several thousand dollars had been charged before theft was discovered.
Dec. 8. Unit block E. Chestnut Hill Avenue. Complainant states that following Mass, several items that had been donated to the church had been stolen. Taken were three gift cards, certificates from Acme, two digital Nike cameras, a gift certificate from Hollister Aeropostale, Barnes & Noble, Gamestop, Walmart and Toys R Us. Reported at 12 a.m.
Dec. 9. 8200 Crittenden Street. Complainant states that between 12 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 8, an unknown person attempted to gain entry to living room through side window by prying open window from porch area. Entry was not gained and nothing was taken.
Dec. 10. 100 block Hilltop Road. Complainant states that between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to rear bedroom by removing screen window and forcibly pushing up main window. Offender went through drawers, taking money.
Summary — Seven crimes for week: three burglaries, two thefts and two thefts from vehicles.
